Coat d'arms sell a range of water based acrylic
paints specifically designed to paint miniatures.
The Textured paints are a ready mixed
combination of fine sand and paint to varying degrees of
coarseness. Perfect for making excellent looking bases quickly.
In case you recognise the names or bottle
design at all it's because Coat d'arms is the same paint Games
Workshop used to sell until they switched suppliers. These days a
GW pot of paint costs £2 for 12ml whereas a Coat d'arms pot of
paint costs £1.40 for 18ml. That means you get 33% more paint for
60p less!
Plus the Coat d'arms range comes in the much preferred flip-top
design rather than the screw top bullet pots with the added
flip-top currently favoured by GW which, as we all know, can cause
serious drying up and/or stuck lid issues.
